Mr. Dang Tran Phong, the Vice Chairman of Can Loc District People's Committee, and Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hieu, the Head of the Quality of Fruits and Vegetable Department at the Fruits and Vegetables Research Institute welcomed all the participants. In his opening remarks, Mr. Dang Tran Phoung emphasized the importance of VietGAP standards in Vietnam's efforts to promote safe food production and sustainable resource management. He hopes that the agricultural extension workers who attended the training are able to transfer their knowledge and skills to farmers and continue to support and encourage farmers to apply the principles of Good Agricultural Practice (VietGAP) in their farms.
