REGIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM ON AGRI-FOOD INSPECTION AND AUDIT

June 19, 2017

Mekong Institute (MI), with the support from the New Zealand Aid Programme (NZAP), is organizing the Regional Training Program on “Agri-Food Inspection and Audit” on June 19-23, 2017, at Mekong Institute in Khon Kaen, Thailand.

The training program targets to enhance the capacity of government officials in CLMV in food safety inspection and audit, particularly inspection during processing and distribution stages, as well as during cross-border trade. It also aims to expose private sector actors and business entities to efficient and effective food safety inspection and audit systems in Thailand and New Zealand.

Invited participants are expected to develop and implement an action plan after the training to demonstrate knowledge and skills gained. The action plan should be something that is useful to their organization’s work or the participant’s current responsibilities.
