With the support of the People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China, Mekong Institute (MI) will be organizing a capacity development program which includes a webinar and a training on “Promoting Resilient and Sustainable Tourism for Post-COVID 19 Recovery in the Lancang-Mekong Countries” on September 12-23, 2022.
The online regional training program targets to contribute to tourism sector recovery plans in the Lancang-Mekong countries by exchanging good practices and challenges.
In this line, MI is now accepting applications for interested Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand, and Viet Nam nationals who are officials from the government agency, research or academic institution, and experienced individuals from private sector to participate in this training program. Due to movement and travel restrictions in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the training course will be hosted at the MI Residential Training Center in Khon Kaen, Thailand via a digital platform – Zoom application.
The course will be delivered in English and will be facilitated by MI and regional experts. Selected participants are expected to develop and implement action plans to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they gained from the training course.
